ISOLA D'ISCHIA ( NA) - Questo video è stato realizzato con il fine di manifestare la solidarietà agli abitanti dell'Isola "verde", ma soprattutto per contribuire a dare loro l' input per rialzarsi, rimboccarsi le maniche e ripartire dopo la frana che il 26 novembre scorso ha ucciso 12 persone, distrutte abitazioni e costrette tantissime persone a lasciare le proprie case, che ora alloggiano in alberghi o altrove, in posti di fortuna.
Un esempio concreto lo hanno dato sin dal primo giorno del disastro i vigili del fuoco, le forze dell'ordine, ma anchei volontari. Questi ultimi, tantissimi, mobilitati per liberare le strade coperte dal fango, accogliere e fornire il cibo agli sfollati, i farmaci, indumenti, giocattoli e quant' altro ai più piccini. Ora ci vuole di più.
L' isola ha bisogno di tutti, turisti compresi. Anzi, loro, i turisti sono anch'essi protagonisti che hanno diritto di alzare la voce contro la probabile lentezza di chi è o sarà l'addetto ai lavori per la ricostruzione.
Americani, Inglesi, tedeschi o francesi che siano; turisti italiani e locali hanno il diritto di manifestare la partecipazione alla ripartenza e se necessario di puntare il dito anche contro la politica scadente.
Ischia costituisce mille e mille ragioni per essere patrimonio dell' umanità, sia per le splendide spiagge, una delle quali testimonia la storia dell' antica Roma: sul fondale marino della spiaggia di "Cartaromana" si trovano appunto dei resti romani, sia per le sorgenti termali, per non parlare della storia medievale, dell'arte della natura per cui l'isola è rinomata. La speranza, dunque, c' è. Le istituzioni ci sono, per il resto che dire?...Preghiamo!

ISLAND OF ISCHIA (NA) - This video was made with the aim of demonstrating solidarity with the inhabitants of the "green" island, but above all to help give them the input to get up, roll up their sleeves and start again after the landslide which last November 26 killed 12 people, destroyed houses and forced many people to leave their homes, who are now staying in hotels or elsewhere, in makeshift places.
A concrete example has been given since the first day of the disaster by the firefighters, the forces of order, but alsothe volunteers. The latter, many, mobilizedto free the streets covered by mud, welcome and supply food to the displaced, medicines, clothing, toys and anything else to the little ones. Now it takes more.
The island needs everyone, including tourists. On the contrary, they, the tourists, are also protagonists who have the right to raise their voices against the probable slowness of whoever is or will be involved in the reconstruction work.
Americans, English, Germans or French; Italian and local tourists have the right to demonstrate their participation in the restart and, if necessary, to point the finger at poor politics.
Ischia has thousands and thousands of reasons for being a world heritage site, both for its splendid beaches, one of which testifies to the history of ancient Rome: on the seabed of the "Cartaromana" beach there are Roman remains, and for the springs spas, not to mention the medieval history, the art of nature for which the island is renowned. So there is hope. The institutions are there, what about the rest?... Let's pray
